Our Mission
At Believe Alternative Provision, we are passionate about helping young people who need a different approach to education. We believe every young person deserves the chance to thrive, no matter their background or challenges.
Our Story
Founded and led by Eve Richards, an experienced practitioner and parent carer, Believe combines lived experience with professional expertise. With a background in youth work, family support, SEND advocacy, and performing arts teaching, we understand both the challenges young people face when mainstream education doesn’t fit, and the pressures this can place on families.

Our Approach
Our work is rooted in compassion, creativity, and the belief that every young person deserves to feel safe, listened to, and supported. With the right provision, we know young people can rediscover their confidence, resilience, and joy in learning.
Our provision supports young people who are:
- Neurodiverse, including those with Autism or ADHD (with or without diagnosis)
- Experiencing mental health difficulties or low self-esteem
- Currently in a mainstream setting but needing additional support
- Not in mainstream education or at risk of exclusion
